This book measures 9" x 5 5/8" and has 138 pages. The text body is set in Old Style Antiqua printed in two colors on Boxmoor paper. The book was bound in suede with three cover variants. It was also bound in paper over boards with a buckram spine and in 3/4 and full Levant both of which were later rebinds. Additionally there was an edition of 40 of which #'s 1-4 were bound in vellum with the rest bound in suede. Each of the edition of 40 were specially illumined with 1-4 having up to 35 special illustrations by W. W. Denslow. The other 36 were illumined with a mixture of Denslow, Annie McMillan and Clara Schlegel drawings.
