Full Levant Binding by Sterling Lord

This book measures 7" x 4 1/2" and has 162 pages. The text body is set in Scotch Roman and was printed on laid paper. The book was bound in suede, paper over boards with a suede spine, modeled leather, Alicia, 1/4 Levant and full Levant. The cover was designed by Dard Hunter. There are two photos tipped in that are not shown, one is of Elbert Hubbard and the other is of Elbert and Alice Hubbard.

The binding above is an full Levant binding by Sterling Lord. Notice the intertwined initials show above. Sterling Lord's initials were intertwined on his signed bindings. These are often confused with Lorenz Schwartz bindings. Lorenz Schwartz's initials were also done intertwined,  intertwined with one stamped on the other, horizontally one after the other, or just his last name alone.
