The Last Ride

by Robert Browning, 1900

The book and its variants are approximately 7 3/4" x  5 1/4" and have 10 French folded pages. The text body is set in Monotype 16E and  940 copies of this book were printed on Roycroft handmade paper with a suede binding (as depicted in picture #6) or paper over boards with a Vellum spine and corners (as depicted in picture #5). 940 copies were bound in full vellum with cloth ties and full vellum pages (as depicted in picture #3). Fifty copies were printed on full vellum with various bindings, including modeled leather (as depicted in picture #2) and 3/4 leather (as depicted in picture #4). Twenty five copies were done in full Levant or modeled leather with Classic Vellum pages (as depicted in picture #1).  The example in picture #1 shows the bindery work of Louis Kinder.
