Binding in calf over cloth boards and a leather strap with copper buckle. This is not one of the commonly seen suede books but a rarely seen variant not listed in McKenna. Beautiful interior with Dard Hunter initials. Chapters on George Eliot, Thomas Carlyle, Jonathan Swift, William Wordsworth, Charles Dickens, Shakespeare, Walt Whitman and others.
