The Long Roll

This book measures 8" x  6" and has 241 pages with text set in Scotch Roman. It was printed in a limited edition of 500 and is bound in a Miriam binding. The book is a "vanity press" item and chronicles the Civil War and in particular the 9th New York volunteers also known as  "The Hawkins Zouaves". It is written in diary form and has many line drawn illustrations of places-- printed on glossy paper. The book is of interest to Civil War collectors as well as Roycroft collectors.
