A Message to Garcia and Thirteen Other Things

These books measure 8 7/8" x 6", 8 3/4"
x 6", 8 3/4" x 5 7/8" and 8 3/4" x 5 7/8" respectively. Each has 166
pages. The text body is set in Old Style Antique. The editions of 50,
(shown above) were printed on Imperial Japan Vellum, hand illumined and bound in
3/4 leather and marble board. The top two volumes are unlimited editions and
they were printed on Roycroft watermarked paper and were not illumined.
The regular editions of this book were printed on on Boxmoor paper and
bound in paper over boards or full suede. Additionally, an edition of 450 copies
had facsimile pages of the original manuscript inserted in the book, were hand
illumined, and bound in full suede with a wallet edge. There were other special
order bindings available and this was also bound in full Levant.
The 3/4 Levant
books above that were printed on Japan vellum and hand illumined were listed in the 1901
and 1903 catalogs and sold for $15.00
