The Music Lovers Calendar

Printed by the Roycroft Press, 1905.

This magazine measures 11 3/4" x 8" and is about 1" thick. It was an annual publication for two years having been printed in both 1905 and 1906. The calendar is a chronicle of events in the music world that were both historical and current that were deemed worthy of permanent record. The Music Lovers Calendar is a fairly uncommon item. The typesetting was done by Francis Bowen with the Presswork by Louis Schell and George Parker. Charles Rosen oversaw the production as the head of the Roycroft Bindery. The magazine was printed for The Musiclovers Company of Boston Mass.
