The book  measures 6" x  4" and has 172 pages. The text body is set in Scotch Roman and printed in two colors on machine made watermarked paper. The regular binding is paper over boards with either a leather or a cloth spine. There was also an edition printed on Japan Vellum. Binding variants include, 3/4 leather, full leather and flexible leather. Shown above are eight variants of the book. The bottom two pictures show a variant in an unusual dust jacket with Arts and Crafts designs and the Dard Hunter Rose.
