The book  measures 11" x 8 1/2" and has 68 pages. The body of the text is Old Style Antiqua and 480 copies were printed on Whatman paper. The book was bound in  paper over boards with a cloth spine.  W. W. Denslow's designed the initials and his Roycroft cross and orb with seahorse design was used in the colophon. The book was completed May 13th, 1898. and the initials were designed by W. W.  Denslow. The illumination is not signed but it has the appearance of being done either by May Gordon or Minnie Gardner.

This book is listed in the 1899 catalog and sold for $5.00. In the 1902 catalog a full Levant Sonnets of the Portuguese was being offered for sale at $75.00
