This book measures 7 3/4" x 6" and has 14 numbered pages plus colophon. The body of the text is in Caslon Old Style and it was printed in two colors on Roycroft handmade watermarked paper.  The book has the title page, colophon, and running heads illuminated. The binding variant above is s suede spine with paper over boards. The regular edition is bound in suede. Fifty copies were bound 3/4 Levant and printed on Imperial Japan vellum and hand illuminated.  Illuminated by Anna Paine. This edition of A Story of a Passion is listed in the 1901 catalog and sold for $2.00 The book variant shown above is also in the collection of The Roycroft Museum in East Aurora. The illuminator of this book Abby Blackman was the wife of Anson Blackman, AKA Ali Baba.
